Akron’s got innovators, and the country is not only taking notice, it’s about to hear from them.
Seven of the city’s urban leaders and entrepreneurs have been selected to present as “featured urban innovators” at this year’s Hometown Summit from Thursday, April 13, through Saturday, April 15, in Virginia.
The Hometown Summit is a national conference, sponsored by the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in Charlottesville. Organizers say it “gathers hundreds of city leaders, business owners, and nonprofit practitioners to explore how small cities can thrive in the innovation economy.”
