Cleveland must consider ways to use new mobility technology to bring people to jobs and jobs to people. That was the thinking expressed at Cleveland Conversations: Mobility, Data and Equity.
This conversation, organized by Meeting of the Minds and DigitalC, gathered about 70 leaders from the public, private, nonprofit and academic worlds Wednesday at Digital C’s MidTown Tech Hive in Cleveland. Meeting of the Minds is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that highlights innovations for sustainable cities.
Technology can create transit systems that are more efficient and easier to use.
Speakers at Cleveland Conversations included moderator Gordon Feller, co-founder of Meeting of the Minds; Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority CEO Joseph Calabrese; Rahul Kumar, national director of emerging mobility at TransLoc, and Eleanor Joseph, director of business development for Via.
TransLoc and Via are companies exploring how technology can make mass transit more efficient.
