Nation’s CTO Endorses EfficientGovNow

CLEVELAND–July 10, 2009–EfficientGovNow received a strong endorsement today from Aneesh P. Chopra, assistant to the President and the nation’s Chief Technology Officer.


During his speech at the City Club of Cleveland, Chopra highlighted the EfficientGovNow competition as an example of the innovative ideas needed to stimulate more efficient government and a more globally competitive nation. “Very cool,” he said. “I’m taking that back to Washington,” he said. The White House is interested in bringing similar innovation to the federal government through its Open Government Initiative,
