CLEVELAND–November 12, 2018–The Fund for Our Economic Future is pleased to welcome Dominic Mathew as Director of Mobility Innovation and Bradford Davy as Director of Regional Engagement.
Dominic comes to the Fund with extensive domestic and international experience in transportation planning and policy development. Most notably, he served as a senior program associate at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy in New Delhi, where he worked on transit policy advocacy, developed partnerships with federal and state entities, managed data collection and analysis, and conducted research to improve access to transportation. Most recently, he was at Cornell University completing a Master of Regional Planning and Environmental Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi, India.
Dominic assumed the newly created position of Director of Mobility Innovation on October 29. In this role, he will be responsible for working with stakeholders in business, workforce development and transportation to launch a number of pilots in Northeast Ohio over the next two years to better connect people to jobs in the region, as part of the Fund’s commitment to improving job access.
Most recently, Bradford served as a project manager at Camcode Global, focusing on the manufacturing firm’s international government and defense portfolio. Notably, this work landed him as a sponsored presenter at the United Nations’ Biannual Meeting of Government Experts in 2016. Bradford also brings a wealth of community organizing and policy experience to the role of Regional Engagement, having previously worked for the Center for Community Solutions and the Ohio Organizing Collaborative. Bradford received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Toledo and holds a Master of Science in urban studies from Cleveland State University.
In the role of Director of Regional Engagement, which he began on November 5, Bradford will work to empower Fund members and local leaders to bring the Fund’s Growth & Opportunity framework to local communities. He will connect with key stakeholders, from neighborhood-based leaders to regional civic actors to the state of Ohio and beyond, to adapt and align economic development strategies to meet community needs and drive a persistent focus on systemic racial inclusion.
